honoring a legacy,

Inspiring the next generation

The MLBPA-MLB Youth Development Foundation is a proud partner of the Mississippi Dream Weekend, founded by MLB veteran Curtis Granderson and supported by past and present MLB players, as a special addition to the MLBPA Players Go Home program. The series invites children all across the state of Mississippi to join current and former MLB players with roots in the community for a three-day weekend of life-changing baseball camps.

Taking place over Martin Luther King Jr. Day Weekend, the series will honor the continuing legacy of Dr. King, who paved the way for people of all backgrounds to break barriers and turn their dreams into realities.

Through baseball, fun, and inspiring conversations the inaugural Dream Weekend will celebrate the life and contributions of America’s greatest champion for racial justice and equality.
